Genres

As humans, we naturally categorize everything we experience. Music is no exception.

Bossa Brunch - 3.5 hours of smooth and hip-swaying Brazilian masterpieces. I always want to wear a linen suit and drink cocktails when I listen to this one.

Vintage Grooves - 1.5 hours that will get you up and shakin' your groove thing. These vintage 70s era classics will tug at your inner dancing queen (you know s/he's in there waiting for you to get your mojo on!).

Under a Charcoal Sky - 2.5 hours of haunting bluegrass. This collection is full of angst and pain, which only bluegrass can really convey.

The Ranch - 2+ hours of contemporary country curated right here in California’s wild west.

Funky Town - 2.5 hours of jive, soul and funk. Time to channel that stone fox and get down! Inspired by PDX’s food truck parks.

Blue Note Lounge - 5 hours of jazz, and only jazz.

Distortion - 1.5 hours of hard driving chords, power vocals, and anti-social behavior.

Southern Rock - 2.5 hours of grit and grits with a shot of moonshine to wash it down.

The Boys - 1 hour of youthful charisma, a good choreographer, great hair, and auto-tune. Yep, that formula works!

Disco Fever - 3 hours of that night fever, night fever; we know how to do it!

Longboard - 1 hour of classic surf rock, full of reverb and tremolo... and the pursuit of the perfect set.

Italiano - just under an hour of wonderful mid-century Italian hits... dolce musica, dolce vita!

French Kiss - une heure de chansons amusantes et sexy interprétées en français.

That Bossa Vibe - 1 hour of all instrumental Bossa Nova and Samba beauties.

Smokey Blues - 1.5 hours of old school, 12-bar blues by the giants who defined the genre.

Blackwood - 1.5 hours of exploring the darker side of rock.

Light and Classic - 1.5 hours of airy and upbeat chamber music.

Going Geek - 1 hour of eclectic science mega-hits and nerdish parodies. I admit that I knew a lot of these before I set to putting this together!
